My hair is really thin and thinning. Help!?

I'm 16. My hair wasn't this thin, say, a year or two ago. I'm not really under any stress. When I wash my hair, I'll brush it and so many strands of hair come out. Also, during the day, it comes out. What can I do to fix this? Or at least help make it thicker?

heya...i'm a hairdresser...

average we lose 100-200 hairs per day, but thinning hair cud b due to stress/worry/depression, horomones, medication or a medical problem, i dont think its alopecia as u havent got bald spots.

washing hair doesnt make it worse, but if u do find u have greasy hair, use a tea tree based shampoo and conditioner - its good 4 greasy hair and dandruff as its anti bacterial and it helps soothe sore itchy scalps - also dont use conditioner on the roots, midlength and ends only and same with hair products unless it tells u to do so on he packaging.

try using thickeing/volumizing products.

You can take a multivitamin and that will help. But if it is coming out really bad you may need to go see a doc. For your age its pretty rare that that much hair is coming out for it to be so thin. Also, you can get certain products to make it look thicker.-Amplify is a good product to look in to.

When issues of hair loss or thinning hair become a problem, many rush to find effective products and remedies to calm their concerns. On the market, a variety of hair care products are available, including conditioners, cr鐚玬e rinses, hair styling options, essential oil capsules, and the commonly selected hair thickening shampoo.

A variety of factors may lead to the thinning of hair or cause strands to become very fine. Unfortunately, those who have suffered fine or soft hair throughout their lifetime will feel the effects of thinning hair problems and hair loss more than individuals without this type of hair. Overall, a hair thickening shampoo works to enhance each strand of hair in order to give the impression that a fuller head of hair exists.

How Does Hair Thickening Shampoo Work?

With the use of vitamins and other proteins, hair thickening shampoo (sometimes referred to as 'volumizing' shampoo), creates a bond with strands of hair to create a "plumper" appearance. It is this technique that makes limp hair or thinning patterns of hair loss lessen because hair becomes visibly fuller after using such a product. In the end, depending on the product, both hair and scalp should receive a daily or weekly boost in moisture and uplift.

In the creation of hair thickening shampoos, there are certain ingredients frequently used, where the gentlest components are most effective in treating weakened or fine hair. Panthenol is a provitamin of B5 and is used to increase the thickness of hair shafts. Wheat protein is sometimes used to increase hair vitality, as well as elasticity. Witch hazel extract provides resiliency and adds moisture to hair. Silk proteins help to prevent brittleness by providing emolliency.
