im going hair dressers in a weeks time but its too embarrsing also i cut a fringe by myself and its really bad pleaseee help meee!! its been a month now and it aint grown or gone thicker ??

When your friend thinned your hair....it made it uneven. That's what thinning does. It slices at the hairs at an angle and takes just bits out here and there....making your hair lighter. I hate having it done...I did it once and never again!! You'll just have to be patient and allow it to grow back out...and wait to get to the hairdresser to fix the rest that they can...Good luck!!

You'll mainly have to wait until it grows out some; let it grow out a little bit, then go to a salon and get them to shorten it to even some of the layers, so it is blunt on the ends.

For the top pieces, let it grow out then have your bangs cut. In the meantime, pull back those pieces with some small barrettes or decorative bobby pins.

thinning is pretty damaging and should only be done by a professional. however, buying an intense conditioner like biolage for over treated hair should speed up growth and make your hair easier to work with. if you dont like the uneven lengths from the thinning, try blowdrying your hair straight and then curl the ends (or last few inches depending on how long your hair is) and work some shine gel over the ends and then finish with a quick sweep of hair spray, you wont be able to see the hair is uneven in length, i do this all the freakin time...
