my mom doubts if i should cause it can thin your hair and damage it a lot should i really dye my hair? or is there some type of dye that doesn't damage that much?

There are several products that are more natural ( usually meaning they contain less alcohol). I agree that you should not bleach your hair as that is very damaging. Try one of the temporary dyes first and keep it somewhat close to your natural color, just a bit of change on your first go around. That is actually what I always use...I have very very fine hair which makes it appear to be thin but dyeing your hair actually coats and plumps the hair follicles making feel and appear thicker.

There's special types of Herbal Essences, it works somewhat like conditiner/dye and it's permanent(also a bit expensive). You should only dye your hair if you really want too, it wont do TOO much bad for you.

Bleaching will damage your hair. My mom's hair is really fine and thin. By dying it a deep auburn shade her hair looks much thicker.

maybe a different style or perm....I don't know if dye is going to make you look thicker.....but, a call to a trusted salon may help...

It can damage it, but it can't thin it anymore than it already is.

If you're thinking of going darker, try using a semi permanent color. Although they truly don't wash out a 100%(that's why they're called 'semi'), the peroxide is lower, so it's not as damaging.

Anything chemical done to your hair is 'damaging'. There is also different levels of damage. Dyeing your hair doesn't necessarily mean you're 'frying' it.

Make sure you take care of it by conditioning it and using a gentle shampoo. For people with thin hair, coloring it can actually help give it body.

erm i tht if u have thin hair..i tht it will be better if u did not dye hair...i tht u can try using hanna and dye br0wn...it wont not harm and damage much of ur hair...i tht u can also go for treatment of ur dye hair...i tht u can try sg website at 88db..they gt few recommended hair salons..if not u can just buy hanna frm indian shop...
