What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

I need good products that will not weigh my hair down. My hair is shoulder length and cut with a few long layers. What would you recommend?

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

No not baby shampoo, thats the worst thing anyone could use on their hair.

Get a non base oil shampoo, oil will weight your hair down.

If you are buying a cheap wal mart brand read the label for fine, thin hair.

Or go to a salon and let them suggest a good brand like Redkin.

Stay far away from Pantene and Sunsilk!!!! Plzzzzzzzzz......Try V05, Heads %26amp; Shoulders or any shampoo recommended by your salon, though this might be a pricey option.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

Try the Dove brand of shampoo and conditioner. You can get it at your local wal mart or other department store. It is especially formulated for fine and thin, wispy hair. It will give you control, and body. http://www.dove.us/hair_expert/results.a... Try this website for more info.

Shampoos do various things. Matrix has a line for fine hair. Does it matter how much it will cost? Is that not the only hair and skin(scalp) that you will ever have? Price should be the last factor when you are buying things for your hair and skin, if you plan to live long take care of it now so it will look good when you get older.

I would recommend you to use either Nizoral or silk and shine shampoo/conditioner

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

I had similar hair, I went to the health food store and found a product called Natures Gate Organic rejuvenating shampoo and conditioner. It really works well for me and smells awesome Asian Pear and Green tea... Its leaves my hair smooth and full. Maybe try that?

Good Luck!

Herbal Essences is really good for wavy, thin hair. and it sort of gave my hair some lift, ooo and it smells great!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

Dove shampoo and conditioner for fine hair (with "weightless moisturizers") works pretty well for me.

Even though it makes your hair feel good, stay away from heavy conditioners like Pantene. Your hair will be soft, but limp and unmanagable.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

If I were you I'd try out the new colour coded range from sunsilk - it works wonders.

I'm using Purple (for silky straight hair) and my hair is looking good, and straightening perfectly.

Whatever you do: DO NOT USE PANTENE - unlike other shampoo and conditioner brands, pantene damages the bits on your hair called imprecations, and leaves your hair feeling dry, despite what their ad says.

Hope I've helped.

Without paying a fortune for some designer products try White Rain Clarifying with matching conditioner. I find it doesn't leave a heavy residue that makes hair droop.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy, yet fine and thin hair?

Matrix Amplify or Sexy Hair Concepts. You will have to pay more but in the long run you will be paying less because salon products are more concentrated than your store brands. Good Luck

Toss & turn? Fine, thin hair? What kind of pillow do you sleep on?

I am a tosser and a turner. I sleep mostly on my side, switching from one side to another, but I do end up on my back at times. I really struggle with finding a pillow that doesn't give me a stiff neck. I finally found a great pillow that relieves my stiff neck problem - it's called the Peach Pillow by McCarty's. However it is a very, very firm memory foam type pillow, which leads me to my next problem. I have very fine thin hair and my hair has been looking very, very straggly in the back. My hair is not very long, it's a bob shoulder length cut. For the last couple of years I have been trying vitamins and special shampoos to get my hair looking better. My thyroid has been checked and all is good. I am wondering if my pillow is breaking my hair as I toss %26amp; turn all night. I've tried to sleep with a silky night cap, but it ends up around my face and off my head before the morning comes. Any tips or suggestions?

Toss %26amp; turn? Fine, thin hair? What kind of pillow do you sleep on?

Wow, finally one I can really help with. My daughter is bi-racial, and she has very fine hair that constantly breaks off. She has to use a silk pillow case, so her hair glides across, instead of breaking. Hope this helps ya!!

Toss %26amp; turn? Fine, thin hair? What kind of pillow do you sleep on?

That's way too deep for me!

Would a thick-haired persons hair thin as much (as they grow old) as a thin-haired persons would?

I have A LOT of hair, so I was just wondering...

Thanks.

Would a thick-haired persons hair thin as much (as they grow old) as a thin-haired persons would?

I wish!!! My hair (at 54) is SO thick and I hate it. I always ask them to thin it out.

Would a thick-haired persons hair thin as much (as they grow old) as a thin-haired persons would?

Well... it depends on your family and its hair. If your mom or dad had really thick hair but now its all gone.., you can probly predict that yours will thin a lot as you grow older... but if theirs stays vibrant.. you have a better chance of keepin a good head of hair into your later years

What is the best volumizer products and what techniques should be used for thin straight hair???

there is a product called root booster, but Aussie. You can buy it at wal-mart, and it works good. Also, to get more volume, make sure you get all of the conditioner out of your hair, and blow dry your hair upside down. You can also use a volumizing shampoo, set your hair with a mist, like a finishing spray so it doesn't fall.

What is the best volumizer products and what techniques should be used for thin straight hair???

I have the same problem. It's very frustrating! But I just bought a volumizer mousse by Ken Paves (he does Jessica Simpson's hair) and it works pretty good. I got it at Target and it's only $5 or $6. Good luck.

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her

I have the same problem, I recently figured out the answer. You have to find a stylist who has the same problem. I have always had to have my hair thinned, it seems most stylist are afraid to thin too much. A stylist who understands is your best bet. I found mine in Tennessee at the Smart Style in Wal-Mart. Good Luck!

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her to thin it, ca

Yes...all you have to do is ask her to razor out the really thick bushy sections of your hair.

Razoring doesn't really take off much lenght mostly bulk so that would be the best idea.

She can even use thinning shears to thin out the bulky sections of your hair.

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her to thin it, ca

Good answer above!

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her to thin it, ca

Just tell your hairdresser to thin it out, they will know best what to do.

But to answer your question, yes, it can be done.

Too bad I can't get my thinning hair to get thickened, lol.

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her to thin it, ca

YES! I just got my hair cut in a tapered bob and the girl did an incredible job of thinning it so it would go straight. See, I have naturally thick, poofy, curly hair... But whatever she did was perfect! Granted I still have to flatten it with an iron, but it takes less time than it used to. And believe it or not the stylist was at Wal-Mart of all places. (Previously I had gotten my hair cut at a pricey salon and she claimed to have thinned it out but it was still poofy) I think she did some kind of special cut to the ends to solve this problem. Good luck and hope this helps!

How can I get my hair thinned?it's really thick and bushy. if I go to a hairdresser and ask her to thin it, ca

my sis had thick and bushy hair too so she just asked the hairdresser to thin it out and it turned out really well

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

i have curly hair but i use the straightener all the days i know its not good

maybe hair is a little thick how can i make it think like her

http://www.orkut.com/AlbumZoom.aspx?uid=...

the one in the right

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

If your hair goes thicker in winter, it's because there is more moisture in the air and it causes your hair to dry out and become thicker, so buy a good hair serum. Garnier "Sleek %26amp; Shine Smoothing Serum" works well.

Get your hair thinned or layered. Go to the hairdressers and ask for a layered cut that'll thin your hair out or just to get your hair thinned.Or get both; contrary to popular belief, this isn't bad for you. They simply cut the middle of your hair and you can still do any hair styles.

Grow your hair; if you have your hair long, it can sometimes thin your hair out. Sometimes you do end up in split ends and unhealthy hair.

Use hot water in your hair. Not very healthy, but hot water will open up your pores in your head and hair seems to fall out. Only do this is you are desperate.

OR:

Spray hairspray/gel until your hair is soaked. Wait for it to dry.

Brush your hair until smooth.

Rinse your hair and shampoo.

Blow dry your hair.

Repeat 4 times.

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

You can go to your hair salon and get your hair thinned. it doesn't damage your hair or anything, and it makes it a lot easier to deal with =]

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

you can ask your hair dresser to thin it out next time you go.

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

well i can't see the pic, but if you want your hair thin, when you go to get your haircut, ask for it to be thinned. they will know what you are talking about. they either take a razor and just shave down your pieces of hair, or there are these crazy scissors and the just cut random pieces. don't worry, i've done it and it looks good

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

for me, i have puffy hair so it looks like whoaaaaaa......so i put baby oil on it and then iron it.......flat.

10 points! girls how can i make my hair really thin?

How to make thick hair thin?

1. Take PLENTY of Vitamins

something about how u worded that "how to regrow my thickness" lol...i would try maybe managing stress levels because that can cause premature hair loss though it is not permanent

Im tryin to thickin up my hair, im thin on the side and a lil on top, what can i use to regrow my thickness?

Braid it back and slap on a weave that will make your hair grow and you don't need a perm or anything

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

As someone else has said get the hair dresser to thin you hair. Its some cutting technique that they use.

I have cut really thick hair as well, and its short. If i don't get it thinned i end up with this massive 'birds nest' or thats what i call it.

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

go to a salon and ask them to thin it out.

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

2 on going to salon %26amp; asking them to thin it out. i have thick hair and get layers, but I get a razor cut (instead of scissors). Works for me.

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

layer it, thin it, but wavy is nice right? keep it long and blow dry it

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

haha thats funny because lots of people with thin hair want thick hair. God never makes people happy, does He?

I would say use some serum, a silicone-based product like John Frieda. Run it through your hair and use lots of conditioner when you shower.

then blowdry it until it's completely dry. If you still need to flatten it a bit, then use a straight iron to go over individual pieces. Especially straighten from the root of your hair, at the crown, that will make your hair look thinner and less puffy. I have the same thick hair so i know, but people are always saying its beautiful like horse hair so you probably have hair like mine.

also like they said, the stylist can thin it out for you, but watch out because if your hair is anything like mine, it will look good for a week, but then all the thinning will make your hair frizz out majorly. Just don't do it okay, believe me. You should probably try to make it all one length. Layers will only make you look poofier.

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

I also have really thick hair which I hate. I always ask my stylist to thin it out and I have a lot of layers. My hair is still not anywhere near thin but it definately helps.

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

Okay, same as everyone else said, get it thinned! But, you may want to try a dehumidifying creme, which will make your hair smoother and less puffy/frizzy. Have you used a straightener?? (Flat iron) I have thick wavy hair and straighteners work wonders for me!

I just checked back and saw another post.. DON'T blow dry!!! That makes your hair worse, plus it damages it! And don't use serums or oils, use a cream based product!

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

I have thick hair too, and I have a lot of it so it was even worse. What I do is I ask my hair stylist to thin out my hair and layer it. It'll feel way lighter and look nicer too. I also thermal ironed (permenately straightened) my hair about two years ago. The chemicals are all probably gone, but it's still not as poofy as before I got it done. I wouldn't suggest you do this though since you have wavy hair, so maybe you should use a curl enhancer, and you can find those at drugstores.

Anyway, I hope I helped!

How can i make my hair thin? its so thick! I was born with thick wavy hair?

use sava its thins it

Why would someones hair thin or become loss?

most likely stress

Why would someones hair thin or become loss?

most likely dirty folicules (build up), if it is only loss it may be stress ...lack of vitamins or illness in the worst of the cases.Try changing shampoo for a milder one, If you use conditioner then use it ONLY on the tips, there楹搒 this shampoo Folicure its worked for me you can try it and try fermodyl treatments if you case is only cosmetic.

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

and i've been told to stop blow drying my hair, but i have to because i shower in the morning and i want my hair dry before i leave. I also use this volumizing hair stuff and it only works if you blowdry your hair. PLEASE help me!!!!! my hair looks horrible because it's sooooo thin!!

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

instead of blow drying it, dry it with a paper towel. put a little bit of curl enhancer on it and scrunch your hair with it until its dry. this works really well on my hair. it defrizzes it and gives it much more volume. mouse doesn't look good on everyone, but you could try it. no gel because that just weighs your hair down

%26lt;3 hope this helps

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

you cant

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

Mousse! if you put a little bit in your damp hair (massage in roots) and then blowdry , it will do wonders for you !

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

No, you can.

You can get a cream for it. Sunsilk has a cream that volumizes and makes hair full. It's called Sunsilk Anti-Flat Weightless Volumizing Cream with Collagen-C . Put it on after you take a shower. You can get it at Target, Walmart, or Walgreens.

If that doesn't work, get layers.

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

try using Sulfate and paraben free shampoo... this will help your hair tooo not fall off... but to make you hair fuller looking use Progain it worked on me,,,

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

it is possibly a genetic thing.

the only short term thing i can suggest other than blowdrying and using volumising products is to add hair pieces to your hair. I have never done it, but my friend adds bits here and there all the time and it really makes her hair look fuller

Long term - Does your mum/sisters have thin hair? If not, you may need to look at your diet/lifestyle. Eating food with lots of iron, protein, fruit and veg with lots of vitamins especially vitamins c and e, will enhance your head of hair

My hair is soooooo thin! what can i do to make it look fuller??

wow. my hair is so FULL it looks horrible. seriously. i can stand in a shower, for like ten minutes, lift my hair up, and the bottom part, is still dry. it is too much.

Take a daily vitamin. That should help. Don't color it and perm it.

If it runs in the family, forget it, nothing will ever help but you can use body and volume products otherwise consult your dermatologist

How do I make thin hair thicker?

try any volumizing shampoos...and use big brush to comb your hair....or mane and tail shampoo is great too.

How do I make thin hair thicker?

Mane n Tale is supposed to work well. Also just remember that you are supposed to loose between 100 and 200 strands of air a day so unless it is falling out in huge clumps there probably isnt anything to worry about

How do I make thin hair thicker?

I take flax-seed oil and omega 3-6-9, but it takes a couple of month, then U should see a difference...

How do I make thin hair thicker?

I too have thin hair and if it is falling out then there may be an underlying problem. Everyone looses hair on a daily basis, somewhere in the range of 20. However, if you are going through puberty or a particularly stress full time in your life you may be loosing more. My best advise to you is take a look at your lifestyle (nutrition, stress, exercise, sleep, etc..) and see if you need to change something there. If all that seems in order a trip to the doctor couldn't hurt. In the mean time try drying your hair with hanging your head upside down this will lift the hair at the scalp and don't put too much stuff in it to weigh it down. Good luck

How do I make thin hair thicker?

Use hair thicking products and dont curl with irons use rollers

My hair is thin and fine. Is there anything I can use to thicken it up permanently?

I don't just want the "look" of full hair. I want full hair!

My hair is thin and fine. Is there anything I can use to thicken it up permanently?

nioxin products work well. (shampoo conditioner, scalp lotion). run around twenty dollars, available in salons.

My hair is thin and fine. Is there anything I can use to thicken it up permanently?

There are no products which will either give you more hair or make your hair permanently a different texture since anything done to the texture of your hair will not effect the hair as it grows. Your best alternatives are shampoo to shampoo additives or extensions. Extensions don't have to make your hair look longer, they can be used to thicken the appearance of your hair by adding more hair.

My hair thin and breaking i try everything what should i do ladies?

YOU NEED TO USE A SHAMPOO THAT IS FOR VERY GENTLE HAIR LIKE FOR A BABY...YOU NEED TO CONDITION IT BUT WITH A LIGHT LEAVE ONE...YOU'LL HAVE TO LOOK AT THE ONES ON THE SHELVES CZ THERE ARE SO MANY NOW I COULDN'T TELL WHICH ONE....NOT USE A BRUSH ON IT...USES A WIDE TOOTH COMBS ALWAYS...TRY NOT TO USE THE BLOW DRYER AND CURLING IRON TO OFTEN..ALL OF THESE THINGS WILL HELP YOU OUT...MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR ENDS TRIM ABOUT EVERY 6-8 WEEKS........

My hair thin and breaking i try everything what should i do ladies?

get a haircut if you have split ends it's the only way... also use a good conditionar and eat right and get excersize and it will help your overall health and your hair...

My hair thin and breaking i try everything what should i do ladies?

try not to let it get dry to much, your hair needs oil and nutrients. You should maybe deep condition it. My hair wasn't thin but it was breaking off so i know how you feel. Don't brush while wet,and dont leave a hair scarf on all day. Most of all STAY AWAY FROM PONY TAILS

My hair thin and breaking i try everything what should i do ladies?

try a deep conditioning treatment.

My hair thin and breaking i try everything what should i do ladies?

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

my hair. is killing me.

and its a little damaged from being straitend 6 days a week (during school, but during the summer i only did it if i were going somewhere)

After my shower it is all frizzy, but a couple hours later, it is flat!

i use root lifters (paul michael) and hairspray (dove, flexible hold), but they don't help!!! and i use panteen spray in conditioner, but i'm trying to use it up and switch to auzzie spray in and heat protector.

i use auzzie root cleanser and tip mender (shampoo) and the "moist" conditioner cause my hair gets dry really easily.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

My hair is exactly like yours. Correction: WAS exactly like yours. You see, over the years I have compiled every bit of information that would help to get my hair flawless. I shall now pass it to you. But be warned! Its long and kind of strange sounding at times, for a lot of it is "home remedies" sort of thing...

INGREDIENTS:

* your chooice of shamppo and conditioner (its best to use the same brands, and if you have the money get the really expesive types from the sallon)

* 1 banana

* 1 tablesspoon of olive oil

* 2 cups of milk

* 1 teaspoon of honey

* 2 tablespoons of salt (preferable sea salt, but plain salt is fine)

* 2 tablespoons of warm vinegar

* 1 cup of warm

* baby powder

STEPS (done once a month):

1) Place the banana and olive oil in a blinder and mix into a cream. Apply to dry hair like a mask.

2) warm the milk in the microwave and add the honey to it. mix these ingredients until the honey dissolves, then pour over hair on top of the mask (OVER THE SINK!)

3) Dissolve the salt into the warm water and pour over hair.

NOW ITS TIME TO GET INTO THE SHOWER (use everyday):

4) place the shampoo in your hands and then rub into the roots of your hair WITHOUT using your nails. Once lathered, scrunch the soapy foam through the rest of your hair. Rinse.

5) Cool the shower water down so that its about room temperature. Scrunch out the extra water and place in conditioner ONLY TO THE BOTTOM END OF YOUR HAIR. In other words, don't place any on the top of your head.

6) take the time to wash the rest of your body or whatever, but don't let your hair into the water for a couple of minutes.

7) cool down the shower more so that its pretty chilly, and rinse out completely.

MORE (do this once a month with the other steps):

8) After Doing your normal wash and patting your hair dry, take the warm vinegar and pour over your head.

9) Take a small bit of conditioner and rub it into the very bottom strands of your hair.

10) pour a small amount of baby powder on the top of your head and comb through your hair.

DONE!! Yes, I know it sounds really odd but I found it to work pretty well. If you find the vinegar and oil not settling well on your scalp jut rinse it out with cold water afterwords. That's what I do.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

You need proper hair care for that read some hair tips and articles on this site

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

here are some tips :

Taking Care of Hair

http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1535....

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

Do like I do. Shampoo mostly the roots and condition mostly the ends. Use a nice rich conditioner, and comb it through with a wide-toothed comb. Blot dry, squeezing the water out with your hands or a towel. Don't rub your hair with the towel. Blow dry only when you absolutely need to.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

firstly, dont use Aussie. If you are on a budget, use Garnier Fructis shampoo/cond. Only wash your scalp if your hair is dry and frizzy. Apply shampoo to your hands, rub together, flip head upside down and wash only head in the shower. Apply conditioner one inch from scalp to ends. Use Biosilk or John Frieda to smooth out ends and blowdry. Both of these products available every drug and grocery store. Hot oil treatment weekly

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

You need to give it a break!! It may be just overloaded. I tried the tip mender and hated it!! Use a daily shampoo with a leave in conditioner. You don't need all the products they dry the hair out more. Use a protectant for flat irons on the hair after you blowdry and before you flat iron. Good Luck!!

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

I had that same problem until like a week ago when I randomly bought the Aussie Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo gets rid of the excess oil but doesn't make it dry and the conditioner makes my hair soft but not oily. My hair hasn't been in this good of condition in a long time. Also try putting a little baby powder on your roots and rubbing it in. It'll keep your hair from getting oily and will make it more voluminous.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

Citre-Shine, shine mis spray laminator did it for me. ONLY spray it on frizzies. baby powder makes oil go away. put it in ur roots

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

I think you are using to many products and perhaps some are to heavy for your hair type.

Buy a clarifying shampoo, this will remove any build-up on your hair. Build-up may be weighing down your hair.

Use clarifying shampoo for at least 3 days in a row.Shampoo hair and scalp. Condition hair not scalp. Then use clarifier 1 time a week to help prervent build up. Clarifying shampoo can dry out your hair if used to often. On other days use a shampoo and conditioner for normal hair.

Do not comb or brush hair flat to head, blow dry hair upside down, this will give lift.

On weekends do deep conditioning, shampoo, towel dry leaving hair damp, apply conditioner heavy and comb through with a wide tooh comb, wrap head with a hot wet towel (the water used to dip towel in should not be any hotter than you can stand on your hands, wring out excess water),leave up for 10 minutes.

When blow drying your hair straight, brush out and away from scalp.

When you brush hair next to scalp it stimulates the natural oil production and the hair absorbs it.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

you could try going with a shorter hairstyle that is still cute and fun but easier for you to maintain. if you use less styling products you may get more mileage out of your hair.

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

SHAVE IT AND START OVER

My hair, its thin, and the roots get greasy very easily, but the rest of it gets frizzy!?

i know all too well about this problem. my hairdresser uses a toner on my hair to give it volume and at the same time use a light conditioner. when i have the frizzies i use John Freida Frizzee on the ends so I dont look like a mad woman. Good Luck

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

i have hard hair and i want it to be soft and sleeky with out perming it or tretment or blow~dry or hot iron.....................just a special shampoo ................ plz help me i am tried of this hair!!!!

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, Amazon.com, etc. You'll love it!

www.organixhair.com

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

You could try pantene pro-v restoratives

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

"Shampoo is better. I go on first and clean the hair. Conditioner is better. I leave the hair silky and smooth. Oh, really, fool? Really. "

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

hmm my hair dresser told me the shampoo All Soft by Redken and it made my hair very soft by using it! and this leave in conditioner "Butter" by Redken! it's in a tube.. you leave in it for 5-10 mins and your hair is sooo soft. :) to make it all sleeky you can put in Biosilk Silk Therapy and it smells great and makes it shiny without grease.

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

i like garnier fructis

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

well, hate to break it to you but it takes more than a "special shampoo" to turn rough hair into sleek hair. you need to stay hydrated, take vitamins, use an iron guard on your hair if you straighten it. Use Chi iron guard it's really good, and if your gonna straighten your hair you hafta use a good straightner like a Chi. Use pantein pro-v shampoo and conditioner. The bottle with the Green writing works very well, its called sleek and shine. Pantein pro-v hair products are great. and every week do a deep conditioning treatment.

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

shampoo that is good is Garnier Fructis when used with its conditioner....but if you want something that makes your hair soft you should try this leave in conditioner called Cantu....it makes your hair soft and combable...my sister doesn't have a perm and i do and we both use it...it is decent

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

try pantenee pro-v ice shine shampoo %26amp; CONDITINER!!!

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

I find Garnier Fructis Fortifying shampoo and conditioner to be the best on my hair...they have a great range to suit all kinds of hair and they don't cost the earth!!! but I don't use it because of the cost...I have used some of the more expensive brands from the hair dressers and they just don't do as good a job as Fructis! but if you do try another brand of shampoo...don't go for pantein as it has agents in it that coats the hair that after awhile the hair becomes brittle and breaks easily! With shampoos and conditioners you need to use them for a while to see if it makes a difference...by the end of the bottle you should see a difference! You can also get smoothing gels that you put on after a shower that helps smooths rough hair...well I am sure that you will get a few suggestions and I hope you find something to help you with your hair, Good Luck:-)

Shampoo to turn hard ruff hair into thin and sleeky?

dove,sunsilk,pantene pro-v,tresemme,garnier fructis,herbal essences

personally, i think sunsilk %26amp; tresemme r the best!

if u have rough hair it is probably damaged so if u use curling irons, straighteners, etc. use should use a hair protectant.

if u go 2 www.sunsilk.com they have free samples.

www.walmart.com has free hair serum or something like that

+sunsilk smells really good 2!

How do you make thin hair thicker naturally. (no extensions)?

How do you make thin hair thicker naturally. (no extensions)?

Proper diets to strengthen the hair work - so simply eat healthy...no fast food, less salt, more veggies, fruit, whole grains.

You could also buy shampoos and conditioners that add volume to your hair. Great brands for this are Dove, Neutrogena, Paul Mitchell, and John Frieda. To fake the full-volume look, wash your hair and blow dry it upside down! Always works for me.

There is a thicker hair formula!

I use pantene pro v and it works use full and thick. I am a true believer it helps with breakage too.

How do you make thin hair thicker naturally. (no extensions)?

Volumizing shampoo is a start. You also need to cut it short because the shorter your hair, the fuller it looks and feels. If you are afraid of cutting too much off, then cut it just below your jawline. You will get used to it eventually. You also need lots of layers. Tell this to the person at the salon and they will know exactly what you are talking about. Also.... side swept bangs make your hair appear a little bit fuller too. Put all of these things together and you will have thicker, fuller hair!

Very thin, limp hair what is a good hair cut for this type of hair I really don't want to short

My hair is really thin and thinning. Help!?

I'm 16. My hair wasn't this thin, say, a year or two ago. I'm not really under any stress. When I wash my hair, I'll brush it and so many strands of hair come out. Also, during the day, it comes out. What can I do to fix this? Or at least help make it thicker?

My hair is really thin and thinning. Help!?

heya...i'm a hairdresser...

average we lose 100-200 hairs per day, but thinning hair cud b due to stress/worry/depression, horomones, medication or a medical problem, i dont think its alopecia as u havent got bald spots.

washing hair doesnt make it worse, but if u do find u have greasy hair, use a tea tree based shampoo and conditioner - its good 4 greasy hair and dandruff as its anti bacterial and it helps soothe sore itchy scalps - also dont use conditioner on the roots, midlength and ends only and same with hair products unless it tells u to do so on he packaging.

try using thickeing/volumizing products.

My hair is really thin and thinning. Help!?

You can take a multivitamin and that will help. But if it is coming out really bad you may need to go see a doc. For your age its pretty rare that that much hair is coming out for it to be so thin. Also, you can get certain products to make it look thicker.-Amplify is a good product to look in to.

My hair is really thin and thinning. Help!?

When issues of hair loss or thinning hair become a problem, many rush to find effective products and remedies to calm their concerns. On the market, a variety of hair care products are available, including conditioners, cr鐚玬e rinses, hair styling options, essential oil capsules, and the commonly selected hair thickening shampoo.

A variety of factors may lead to the thinning of hair or cause strands to become very fine. Unfortunately, those who have suffered fine or soft hair throughout their lifetime will feel the effects of thinning hair problems and hair loss more than individuals without this type of hair. Overall, a hair thickening shampoo works to enhance each strand of hair in order to give the impression that a fuller head of hair exists.

How Does Hair Thickening Shampoo Work?

With the use of vitamins and other proteins, hair thickening shampoo (sometimes referred to as 'volumizing' shampoo), creates a bond with strands of hair to create a "plumper" appearance. It is this technique that makes limp hair or thinning patterns of hair loss lessen because hair becomes visibly fuller after using such a product. In the end, depending on the product, both hair and scalp should receive a daily or weekly boost in moisture and uplift.

In the creation of hair thickening shampoos, there are certain ingredients frequently used, where the gentlest components are most effective in treating weakened or fine hair. Panthenol is a provitamin of B5 and is used to increase the thickness of hair shafts. Wheat protein is sometimes used to increase hair vitality, as well as elasticity. Witch hazel extract provides resiliency and adds moisture to hair. Silk proteins help to prevent brittleness by providing emolliency.

I used to work at a professional beauty supply store and the BEST thing i have ever found for flat hair is called 'Flip It Over'. It is made by a brand called Big Sexy Hair. Also for really great teasing-type styles without any of the damage, there is a product made by the same company called 'What A Tease'. You will not be disappointed. Its the best! Sometimes you can get these at Meijer(if you have one where you live) or I have also seen them at RiteAid but they definitely have them at salons. Good Luck!

Is their any method to grow hair thicker n smooth? my hair is above the hip n its is so thin n hair

n my is falling toooooooo , can u give a best advice as per wat has to done with my hair

Is their any method to grow hair thicker n smooth? my hair is above the hip n its is so thin n hair falling?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

Yes i need to know if thinning my hair is bettter.

When i straighten it up its still alot of hair.

And my hair is usually curly but i mostly starighten it.

Most times heres me im 15. yes pretty old i guess.

but what do you guys think.

http://i29.tinypic.com/2md0gl.jpg

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

If you wanna look like you're balding..

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

I wouldn't..I have really thick hair and everyone advises me not to get it thinned.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

Yeah, just to see how it looks and BTW! I like how you hid your face unlike all these little kiddies around hear asking to rate.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

W0W YES Y0U SH0ULD THIN IT=]]

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

um. . . yes i think i would straighten my hair if i was u

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

Keep your hair just as it is, thick hair is good.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

yes..i would because you can easily put it in a ponytail and curl it etc. hope this helps

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

I think its pretty =]

maybe you could get a sleek and shine gel to make it look thinner.

Because keep in mind if you thin out your hair you will have to do alot after that because once you thin it out it will come back in thicker. So, if you thin it, its something you have to continue to do.

So its your decision.

But i think you should leave as is. Possible curl it or scrunch it, because i think curled hair thats thick is GORGEOUS.

(thin curly hair makes you look balder...) (thick curly hair = beautiful)

Your decision though.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

No, i think you should try a different hairstyle though!

I think you'd look amazingly cute (well i guess i don't know that because of the big '?' mark) with it shortened to an inch or so past your shoulders, thin it our and get some pretty short layers. Move your part over to the side a bit more and add some side swept bangs and it'd be adorable. You could wear it curly, straight, flipped in or out.. perfect!

But if theres no new hairstyle, i dont think you should thin it.. the curls are nice and nice hair takes time sometimes, sadly, haha

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

I have thick hair 2, during the sumer i get it thinned out a little but not much.

During the winter its always nice to have thick hair :]]

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

i used to thin my hair, mine now is really thick, but i love it. if you do thin it and don't like it, it will grow back. just don't have it thinned too much and you will be fine!

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

you have naturally gourgeous hair. i lovvvve it. it wouldnt matter becuase either way itd lookfab. %26lt;3 tell us what uyou choose.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

IT is better, i have a friend who has thin hair and its adorable

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

Yes, Please.

If you want to do it .

It seems hard to comb through

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

yeah.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

i thinned my hair not too long ago...

i really liked it...i mean my hair is way more managable

and it doesnt get all puffy... u should...its not bad like people say it doesnt give u split ends...

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

I would try long layers first that usually helps thin your hair alot before thining, because thining tears your cuticle layer.

*10 points* Should i thin out my hair?

YES, BUT TRY SOME LONG LAYERS...THIS WILL HELP TREMENDOUSLY. THINNING YOUR HAIR WILL TAKE OFF ALOT OF WEIGHT IN YOUR HAIR AND HELP WITH THE TIME IN STRAIGHTENING IT. MAKE SURE WHEREVER YOU GO, THEY USE THINNING SHEARS NOT A TEXTURIZING RAZOR AND THIN AT THE ENDS RATHER THEN BY THE ROOT AREA...USING A RAZOR WILL MAKE YOUR WAVY/CURLY HAIR FRIZZY!

ALSO WHEN YOUR PLANNING ON USING A FLAT IRON, USE A THERMAL GUARD ON YOUR HAIR. THIS WILL HELP FROM DAMAGE.

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

Heyy! why dont you have your hair thinned out? its really effective, my brother has it done all the time!

just go to your hair dressers and they'd do it for you they uses thinning scisors to do it :)

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

If you want it thin, I would go with a new cut and ask the stylist to thin it out. There is no shampoo that will make your hair straight. Your option would be to get to chemically straightened at a salon. It can range from $300 - $1500.

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

There is no shampoo that can straighten your hair and keep it that way. You have to accept the fact that your hair will never be naturally staright, especially if you want it to be healthy. You can blow dry it--that does work after a shower, I do that plus use a straightener--it looks awesome. There is no easy way to have straight hair when you hair is naturally wavy.

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

You DON'T want thin hair, it looks greasy, flat, oily, and dirty very easily. Try Biolage Smooththerapie Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Let your hair air dry to about 60% and then blow dry it.

Tips:

Rinse your hair in cold water right before you get out of the shower (smoothes and closes hair shaft and adds shine)

Tip head upside down while blowdrying (adds volume).

How can you make your hair thin everyday without straightening it?

use vinegar after u shampoo and conditioner it gets my hair straightened and way more manageable so even if i wanted to straighten it, it would be really easy!!!!

How can i keep my hair thin?

Have it thinned out with thinning shears.

How can i keep my hair thin?

There isnt much you can do.. you can get it thinned. Get it thinned with a razor instead of thinning shears.. see if you like that better. Do not get it thinned more than every 3-4 months or it will get bigger.

The difference between a razor and the thinning shears is that the shears thin your hair, but the razor thins individual strands. My hair is usually less pouffy with a razor.

As a cosmetologist with thick hair.. I have many clients with thin hair, and it is far easier to deal with.. for one thing, it's usually dry in under 5 hours.

Shampoo will not make your hair thicker.. no matter what kind.. but volumizing shampoos will make it feel thicker. Wash it as often as needed.. if you wait till every 2 or 3 days you may end up with greasy hair.

How can i keep my hair thin?

i have no idea but stop using so many shampoos that will make it worst believe me

How can i keep my hair thin?

Go to a beauty shop and have it thinned all over every other month, or so. After shampoo use Infusium 23. After that a little Mane and Tail conditioner, (leave in). Then a refined pomatex rubbed through hair. Then put it up with large hairpins and hair rolled around fingers to create the effect of straightning it into slow waves. Leave it up while damp. Use a brush that gets to the roots (not bristle). Shampoo every 2 or 3 days.

I also have fine hair and I like to wear mine long. So, that means I need a perm and a one length cut. Long layers are OK, but only if someone knows how to do it right.

It`s just when people layer our hair it diminishes the fullness; the more layers are added, so my suggestion is to not layer your hair.

Especially if you want it medium or long length.

Hey plzzzzzzz can some1 tel me how to thin my hair?

i aint got any money and i wana thin it by myself can any1 tel me how to do it? fnkz xxxxxxx

Hey plzzzzzzz can some1 tel me how to thin my hair?

You can buy razor combs at beauty supply places, like Sally's Beauty Supply. Price Grabber and Amazon also sell them for $12 each.

http://health-beauty.pricegrabber.com/ha...

Just be careful, because you will mess your hair up. If you insist on doing it at home, be sure you have someone to help you, and work from the bottom up so screw ups are less noticable.

Some people also have success with a narrow tooth comb woven with an unwaxed dental floss. Comb hair wet. This just pulls it out from the roots, but can also cause breakage if combed too fast or pulled to hard. This is a slower process, the is less likely to gap up your cut.

Put your hair on a diet. Stop feeding it snacks while watching tv.

Hey plzzzzzzz can some1 tel me how to thin my hair?

do not do this by yourself seriously. First of all, you need thinning shears which cost money. I would go to a beauty school where hair cuts are super cheap and get it done there. Really, all hair is different when it comes to thinning.

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

i have auburnish blonde hair that goes down a little past my shoulders and i reallly want an emo/scene haircut, without dying it or anything, well maybe highlights, but that's not the point. i'm worried it's too thin and it doesn't have enough volume to look awesome, and i'm going for the....big hair at the top....you know what i mean!

any advice? i don't know what to say to the hair cutter because i went once asking for a razor cut and she said it'll tear up my hair since it's so fine!

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

Thin hair is actually okay for Emo styles in my opinion. Don't get a razor cut but get choppy short layers and the whole emo bangs. Maybe have a sideswept fringe.

As for the styling, use BigSexyHair products or anything else to give you volume. Root lifters work for thin hair and you can also use a shampoo and conditioner that's made to thicken hair!

Good luck, i'm sure you'll look great!

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

don't worry you are still going to look good and

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

Well .... I think its a little risky. I recomend something that makes the volume of your hair larger. Or well you know what i mean. Good luck!

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

Try some different products, like a volumizer, different kind of hairsprays, gels, etc. Cause if you can't cut it, and it's too thin, then I guess there's not much other than that.

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

o girl! don't worry about your hair being to thin.

most of scene hair styles require thin hair

all you do to get volume on the top is either

1. get shorter layers on top

2. tease your hair on top and use volume spray

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

ok. i have the best answer because i have some emo chics that i know. they have that mullet hair. well when you cut it it will turn out volumed.%26amp; btw they use tons%26amp;%26amp;tons of hairspray=]

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

one girl in my science class has REALLY thin hair %26amp; she got layers in it. it looks TERRIBLE! if your hair is thin, don't get it cut into layers because the look you're going for on the top won't work. ask the hairdresser. if she says it won't work; it probably won't.

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

emo hairstyles r ugly. i suggest to go 4 something more preppy =] i hope i helped ur bad style choice :]

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

I have thin hair, and I have a scene cut. I just got a TON of layors on the top, that's the way to do it.

I want an emo haircut but i think my hair's too thin. :(?

Just got my thin hair done up today.

make dure you have a professional sylist, they know how to do anything. Don't tell them to use only a rozor cuttor on thin hair, or just don't mention it. A good stylist will know what there doing. just go for it. Sometimes you have to be avdenturous. It might turn out to be the best thing for your hair that you did.

mine was.

Fine, thin, long hair ~ what's the best style for me?

I also have an oval face...wanting bangs, but not wanting to maintain them. Any suggestions?

Fine, thin, long hair ~ what's the best style for me?

I agree with the rest of the girls, if you have a "longer" bang (cut to the top of your lip aprox) it can easily tuck behind your ear yet if you curl it or style it it will still be covering your face a little. Longer hair that's thin needs some layers to give it depth and body. I have Long Thin hair like you are describing. Also, sometimes if you dye it, that can give it some body, but be careful about perming and bleaching it. I dye my hair just a shade redder than my natural hair color so it isn't a major change it just perks up my overall look and helps give it some "oomph"

You don't have to cut your hair to give long hair some style, yet if it gets past your butt, it's hard to give it some style with out the rest of it weighing it down. Also, try layering your hair around your face, this helps with almost any face shape.

Also, some blow dry tips** Some say blowdrying upside down works, and this is true. Yet if you get a round brush preferable wire for thin hair, and brush in an upward direction while blowdrying it helps create some volume and gives a slight "bend" to the ends of your hair. Sometimes this helps more than blowing it upside down does.

Above all else, get a hairstyle that is easy for you and that you love. Don't get a hairstyle because someone ELSE thinks it looks good on you, but don't ignore everyone elses suggestions either. I have a Mom who is a hairstylist as well as an Aunt and a Grandma. I practically grew up in a hair salon so I know what I'm talking about.

Good luck!

Fine, thin, long hair ~ what's the best style for me?

a blunt cut, like a page boy-with bangs, U can put it also to one side...

Fine, thin, long hair ~ what's the best style for me?

A just below the shoulder-length layered cut, with sideswept, long bangs--that way, you never have to style them, just part them or toss them wherever and go! Shorter hair would suit an oval face quite nicely.

Fine, thin, long hair ~ what's the best style for me?

what ever you like

Could I cut my hair shorter underneath? Would this look weird?

I have thin long hair and it bunches/clings at my neck. Is there a way to cut my hair to eliminate this?

I suggest that if you like your hair long that you adopt an updoo of sorts, or maybe even a ponytail or braid to keep your hair off your neck. If it's sticking to your neck maybe you perspire a lot, maybe you exercise a lot. But nevertheless, there are pretty styles of updoos. Try a knot and clip it...or try the ponytail and clip the end of that up. There are both pretty and plain clips and bands as well as colorful ones, ones with pretty bows to match your outfit.

If your hair is sticking, do you perhaps need a shampoo that will reduce the oil? Or, do you shampoo daily?

I have thin long hair and it bunches/clings at my neck. Is there a way to cut my hair to eliminate this?

If you have thin hair, don't cut it short underneath, that will only make it look thinner. Instead, I would turn my head upside down and spray hairspray all underneath your hair. That will give it volume and keep it together, not stick to your neck.

I have thin long hair and it bunches/clings at my neck. Is there a way to cut my hair to eliminate this?

Easy, by the way are you guy or gal?

Proceed to a salon and have your hair relaxed. Thin hair tends to stick to neck because it's way to soft. There is procedure on a salon called hair relaxing, it straightens out hair making it always pointing towards the floor. I also have thin hair and having the same situation and it's now resolved by the treatment called hair relaxing. I could also make hair look gorgeous.

Do not cut your hair short.

perm it

The best shampoo and conditoner for dry, split end, thin, birttle hair? plus any tips for healthy ha

im a vegi so besides the fact i have little protiene help?!

The best shampoo and conditoner for dry, split end, thin, birttle hair? plus any tips for healthy hair?

I'm vegitarian and have been for over 15 years now. I also have natural strawberry blond hair past my butt, and haven't had it even trimmed in nearly a decade, with only a small amount of split ends.

Here's the secret: The commericials for shampoo show the models with thier hair piled on top of thier heads with luxurious suds. Don't do that. That's just to make the shampoo look good. ONLY wash your hair down to the tops of your ears. That's as far as the oil can travel anyways. The rest of it will be cleaned when it rinses out and down. Then, condition from the ears down, or really, from the bottom up. That's where it actually needs it, since the oil from your head can't reach. If you really want a treat, spread an edible oil from your ends up, like grapeseed or olive. It totally soaks in and strengthens hair. It's a ancient folk treatment, and what the 'hot oil' craze was based on, even though the pharmacetical companies used mineral oil, which doesn't in fact soak in.... You have to wash it out with two shampooings, but you don't need conditioner after...

Hair grows, but it isn't a living thing. It can't heal or recover, so you must do you best to ensure that it doesn't damage in the first place. Nothing, not even expensive conditioners that claim they can repair, can do it. They only try to glue the ends with sticky stuff.

Nearly all shampoos and conditioners made by pharmceticual companies are the same. Conditioner or cream rinse was orginally just the emulisified version of the oil treatment, but now it's all mineral oils and chemicals. Check the ingredients. If they don't have them listed, don't even buy it. SLS, for example, is a potent carcinagen that only increases suds, not cleaning power. I never use anything from them. I get all my hair products from the local health food stores. The prices are comparable, and the results are far superior.

Since hair isn't alive but grown, injesting vit, minerals and protiens are really the only way to get to the root of the problem, as it were... Aquaous extract of horsetail for silica, biotin, keratin, vit. E, kelp, B-complex, and lecithin aid in growth, strength, shine, elasticity, and thickness. Get a nice high dose with no preservatives, sugar, or starch from a health food store.

And shoot your curling irons, hair dryers, and hair sprays.

I used to have dry hair and my hairdresser told me the best thing for it is salon quality shampoo and conditioner. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

try a hot treatment by using African herbal oil. It's very cheap and has so many herbs including walnut oil, olive, kiwi, etc. U can find it in dollar stores and just heat the oil and rub into ur hair and scalp and put a towel over ur head for 10 mins. And trim the ends of ur hair for the split ends, and buy some good shampooand conditioner like Pantene. This is for all races actually and so cheap and u can put it in ur bath water also. Multi-uses.
