Well im a 12 year old girl , and I have had very thick hair almost all my life. But now in the front of my hair (i do not have bangs) it is starting to become thinner. There is also very short hairs around the tinning hairs. I pull my hair into a pony tail sometimes and when i do i notice the little spot where my hair is thinning. baldness is not very popular in my family either. please help

The pony tail could be causing the problem. It is called traction alopecia. I would stop wearing the pony tail for a few months to see if that fixes the problem.
