There isnt much you can do.. you can get it thinned. Get it thinned with a razor instead of thinning shears.. see if you like that better. Do not get it thinned more than every 3-4 months or it will get bigger.

The difference between a razor and the thinning shears is that the shears thin your hair, but the razor thins individual strands. My hair is usually less pouffy with a razor.

As a cosmetologist with thick hair.. I have many clients with thin hair, and it is far easier to deal with.. for one thing, it's usually dry in under 5 hours.

Shampoo will not make your hair thicker.. no matter what kind.. but volumizing shampoos will make it feel thicker. Wash it as often as needed.. if you wait till every 2 or 3 days you may end up with greasy hair.

Go to a beauty shop and have it thinned all over every other month, or so. After shampoo use Infusium 23. After that a little Mane and Tail conditioner, (leave in). Then a refined pomatex rubbed through hair. Then put it up with large hairpins and hair rolled around fingers to create the effect of straightning it into slow waves. Leave it up while damp. Use a brush that gets to the roots (not bristle). Shampoo every 2 or 3 days.
