straighteners don't usually like work just for thick hair, you're lucky with thin hair because you don't need such a high heat setting to get results.

i don't think that is a great choice for thin straight hair that is more fore curly wavy hair i'd suggest this one because it is thick so you can straighten lots of hair at once but do a good job. i'f you chose to go with the eg. above it may make your hair staticky. That's what happened to my sister now she uses the one below and it is great. The comb part would make much difference anyway because you still have to comb before you straighten it.

any straightner is fine. personally i prefer the chi. works best in my opinion...but make sure you use stuff to spray on ur hair so that the heat from the straightener doesn't burn your hair, since you have thin hair. it should be used for any type of hair to protect it. its called "iron guard" or "heat guard". tresseme sells it.
