The trick to getting body and thickness is to use a gel or mousse (tigi has some great ones) and also a root boost spray (again tigi) at your roots. Lean forward with your head down when you blowdry your hair and use a round brush (gauge size to hair length) and blow dry a section at a tme starting with the nape of your neck and working your way forward. You can also lightly blow dry your hair and then put in velcro rollers (the longer your hair, the larger the rollers) and the apply heat from the blowdryer to the roller. Leave the rollers in for about ten minutes (do your makeup, get mostly dressed etc) and then take them out. You can either brush your hair or just loosen up the hair with your fingers.
